He's still going to play against the NY Yankees.

Why can't people admit they're wrong and accept the punishment?
To: demlosers
If he loses the appeal MLB should tack on another 8 game suspension.

It should have been ten games, at a minimum.

I heard the Cubs batboy on the radio this morning confessing that it was his fault; that he took the bat to Sammy to have him sign it and then left it in the dugout by mistake.

I though he said he was going to accept his punishment? Another lie from Sammy. He lied about the bat. He lied about this.

I liked the original I heard -- one month!
Walk down Memory Lane for Sosa! Remember this:
Two special guests sat in the House chamber with first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton as the president spoke: civil rights pioneer Rosa Parks and baseball slugger Sammy Sosa. Clinton singled out his wife, saying ''I honor her'' for her work with children and on behalf of the nation.

If he loses the appeal MLB should tack on another 8 game suspension."If" nothing! Considering the threat of an 8-game suspension -- the same as the last offender, Albert Belle, received -- wasn't enough to deter Sosa, he should have to sit out 16 games.
Or, maybe MLB isn't serious about deterring this behavior.

He may be appealing the suspension just so he can play against the Yankees. If he drops the appeal as soon as the Yankee series ends, you'll know this was the case.

More of the same corruption from chi town.

Seems fair Sammy. It would be better to be quiet.

The Cubs will probably pull their appeal when they believe their schedule is soft, a common tactic.
To: demlosers
Hey people, he's a Cub. It's not like it's going to affect the playoffs, or anything.
