So much for the "compelling interest" argument, eh?

The Supreme court simply declared itself out of usefulness, giving up its job to the legislature and mobs and medias, PC etc...

It looks like this is the beginning of the end of the Constitution of the U.S and the end of the laws of humanity as we know them..

There was this comment in a Washington Post article:
"Those on the books are rarely enforced but underpin other kinds of discrimination, lawyers for two Texas men had argued to the court."
Expect same sex marriage, adoption, healthcare benefits, etc. to be demanded. They seek these through the courts and not the legislature.
I guess that consenting adults can now smoke pot that they raised at home (in private) too, hmmm? "The law is a ass."

Its a free fall.
So true. Consider this: States try people as young as 12 as adults for murder. If a person that age is an "adult" under the law in murder cases, then why can't people that age also consent to having sex?
If all that matters is a right to privacy in one's own home (or the home of another consenting adult), then on what basis can states outlaw polygamy, incest, sex between two or more consenting 12- to 17-year-olds, or between a consenting 12- to 17-year-old and one or more adults? Or, for that matter, between anyone 12 and up who chooses to have sex with animals or with corpses? Why is prostitution illegal? Why are there any laws regulating pornography of any kind, including child pornography and violent pornographic images?

Yup.

The Supreme court fails to take into account the Judeo-Christian basis for our law system. They have traded off some of their credibility and legitimacy for the temporary benefits of political correctness.
