It was a great night of vintage Clinton bashing --- both of Bill and his evil wife who can never be allowed to be the commander in chief. I hope you enjoy the show.

Great interview, Doug! Mr. Schippers is as strong and forthright today as he was back then. You've done us all a big service.

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. If only more people would have listened to the truth at the time. Well, as Dave said, perhaps it was Divine Providence. At least we didn't get stuck with an incumbent Pres. Gore winning in 2000.

You have to do the right thing regardless of the political fallout, and the right thing was to severely punish Clinton for wrongdoing by convicting and removing him from office.

I understand Mr. Schippers' reasoning, but it plays into the hands of the politically expedient crowd who conspired to keep Clinton in office. For everyone who was concerned that Clinton's removal would create a President Gore who would own 2000, there was an equal or greater amount concerned about removal creating a huge economic downturn. Well, we got the downturn anyway, so that was an invalid reason not to remove the Rapist-in-Chief, and I believe two years of an Al Gore presidency would have been bad enough to convince people he didn't belong in the job.

BTW, there'd be no Senator Clinton now if there was no President Clinton then. Of course, if God's plan was to keep America's first black President in office to prevent a President Gore but it also gave us a Senator Clinton, you have to believe He's got another part of the plan to unfold that uses her stint as Senator to rid us of her once and for all. That plan is definitely worthy of a rosary.

I don't disagree. Schippers was merely looking at the silver lining and the irony.
