You either out of willful ignorance or disengenuousness refuse to see what this court decision is truly about. Your points are mute. This isn't about privacy. SCOTUS just undermined every law in the country based upon public morals, and all you can do is repeat the same tired red herring argument? Pathetic.

Good. About damned time, too.

"SCOTUS just undermined every law in the country based upon public morals."

A law which decriminalized sodomy for 97% of the population in spite of the fact that sodomy is labeled in Texas statutes as being "deviant sexual intercourse", is your idea of upholding public morals?

You need to get beyond this arrogant attitude that anyone who disagrees with your point of view is a credulous simpleton. Try to conceive that others can process the decision and come to a different conclusion than you. Others are free to disagree with you and think this was a good decision.

Your points are mute.

I think you mean moot.

The states' rights point is not "mute" [sic]. The point is central. Now, I see that Frist is pushing a federal law for a ban. I despise the SC decision, because it has no legitimate jurisdiction, and I despise a federal law because it has no truly Constitutional legitimacy. It is a state matter, just like abortion.

The SCOTUS have become the 'Nine Popes of America.'

Let's just get it over with and build them a mini-Vatican somewhere in Georgetown where they can selectively subvert or overrule any and all existing morals laws already on the books, and the Constitution itself.

Just to balance the stealth liberals (Souter, O'Connor, Kennedy, JP Stevens) the GOP have infested the court with in the recent past, I'd suggest that Dubya begin appointing NO ONE to the left of Atilla the Hun....
