My 82 year old Mother-in-law consumed huge amounts of diet everything for years due to diabetes. She now has Parkinson's Disease which has been linked to consupmtion of aspartame.

This is mainly a matter of personal preference, but having up close an personal the effects of Parkinson's Disease I will opt out. As an example, yesterday we went out to eat at lunch. It took her 2 1/2 hours to get from the car in their drive to the bathroom and into the living room of their home, a total distance of less than 100 feet. I for one do not want to have to use a walker and be only able to more one foot at a time less than 4 or 5 inches every few minutes due to the pain and stiffness.
