Lands' End still has a good classic offering of clothes. So does LL Bean, Hanna Anderssen, and a few others.

My wife buys a lot from these, as well as Gymboree, Cache Cache, Noodle Zoo and some Gap. Gotta be a little careful with the Gap stuff, hits all over the spectrum. Seems like you need to hit the expensive mail order stuff to stay conservative. Thank goodness for EBay.

Wal mart has a basics brand that I use. I go to the boys department and purchase their basic t s for my girls.
