"Of all the books that have been written about [Hillary Clinton], this one is the definitive book that probably the Clintons will fear the most."
That was the assessment from rising conservative star Sean Hannity Tuesday night, while interviewing "Hillary's Scheme" author Carl Limbacher on Fox News Channel's "Hannity & Colmes."
"This is a terrific read and a great book - and it lays it all out," the top rated talker told his audience. "If you look at the polls she's the most popular Democrat. She beats all nine other no-names."
Limbacher told "Hannity & Colmes" that "Hillary's Scheme" is a "clarion call for conservatives and Republicans" to start preparing now to counter Hillary in 2004.
News reports Tuesday showed Sen. Clinton proceeding full speed ahead, announcing a brand new campaign fundraising operation the same day a Boston Herald poll showed she would win New Hampshire's Democratic primary.
Hannity noted that "Hillary's Scheme" serves up the antidote to a Clinton presidential run, telling his audience, "This book reminds us of everything this woman has been involved in . . . I don't think it misses a beat in pointing out every lie, every inconsistency, straight on down the line."
Democratic consultant Vic Kamber told "Hannity & Colmes" that the notion Hillary would run in 2004 is "a ludicrous concept." But in the next breath Kamber said he believed Hillary's denials about 2004 because, "I absolutely think she's an honest woman."
When Alan Colmes accused Limbacher of "trying to instill fear in people about Hillary Clinton," the "Hillary's Scheme" author responded, "I think there's a basis for Americans to be afraid."

I am not a huge NewsMax fan, but the campaign for HRC to run in 2004 has definitely begun. MSNBC has already done a couple segments where the idea was touted----not discussed but touted. Yesterday Lester Holt threw to break by saying that when they came back they'd discuss if Hillary Clinton was the best hope for the democrats.
This is not a drill, it's the real thing.

I heard this interview yesterday, but I'm not sure I agree with all of his assertions. Yes, she is power hungry, an opportunist, evil, etc... . But, she will only get in if she thinks she has a 60/40 chance of winning. Until Sadaam is found, WMDs aren't found, and the DOW remains under 10,000 she will contemplate it. If all three of those things happen she will stay out and let some other rat take the fall in the election, then plan on 08.

Colmes was having a fit while Limbacher was being interviewed. He wouldn't even let him talk. Normally I like him - I think he is a good man, albeit misguided - but Limbacher drove him nuts.
Colmes started gushing about Hillary, and I had to turn the channel. I can't stand it when liberals gush about Hillary. She is so corrupt, and they are so blind, I can't stand it.
On DU they are always wearing their tin hats, thinking Bush is going to throw them into jail. Evita would jail them so fast their heads would spin.
When I see her frozen smile and glare everytime a conservative speaks, she frightens me.
I just finished Final Days. It was ok but not as good as Hell to Pay. Maybe I'll check this new one out.

Please let there be no Ross Perot popping up from no where. Really scary thoughts about that scheme.

My favorite moment:
Hannity: You know what my problem is with Hillary Clinton? She's a liar, Vic. A congenital liar.
Kamber: But she's an effective leader, Sean.
D'oh!

They seem to suffer the same ideological malaise which afflicts the constimatooshunalist militia nutjob types.

LOL...... I'm sure the Clintons are trembling in their shoes from fear of anything that Carl writes or can write about them. Hyperbole at it's greatest mixed with an ego.

No. It is not the real thing.
It is a CONTINGENCY.
She will only run IF....By the time of the Convention, Bush is Beatable. If something goes wrong between now and then, the remnants of the Nine Dwarves will go to the convention, and they Will engineer a Brokered convention that will leave her with a 12 week Campaign.
Long enough to get favorable Publicity, not long enough to get muddied.

I disagree with your assessment to some extent.
She will get in the race, but she won't run in the primaries.
She can't let another Democrat win without being part of the ticket. If there's even a 40% chance of the Dem candidate winning, Hillary will be on the ticket as the running mate. And I don't think she'll be on the ticket at the top in 2004.
There are several reasons I think she will run as the Vice Presidential candidate:
- I think she promised to server her term and not run for President. I don't think she's ever promised that she wouldn't leave to run for Vice President.
- She won't take a chance on losing on her own. She can't lose the election as the Vice Presidential candidate. Any loss would be blamed on the Presidential candidate.
- Assuming the Dems win, some time in early 2007, she could become President when some type of "Arkancide" happens to the President.
- By assuming the Presidency after such a "tragedy," she could still run for two more terms as the incumbent.

Hillary would rather run in 08 but it's not a realistic option; trying to wait that long leaves too many things which the Clintons can't control hanging around. If nothing else, it leaves both Clintons having to try to sabotage any other dem candidacy in 04 while hoping the world doesn't notice them doing it. Hillary will be the dem candidate in 04; count on it.
