Bushs 16-word statement in the State of the Union address was false
It is demonstrably true.
The British government has recently learned that Saddam Hussein sought significant quantities of uranium in Africa.
The British government stands by their assertion, which was not solely based on forged documents, but on intelligence provided by the French, whose companies control Nigers uranium mines.
Babs should stick to what she knows - singing through her nose and spoiling the California coastline.
On FR, "Barbra Streisand" IS a barf alert.
Ya know what? I take it back.
It took one quick glance to notice that she misspelled, "guerilla", and her sentence structure still resembles that of an 8th grader. To wit:
Now that we have destroyed Iraq, now that we are stuck rebuilding a country and spending tens of billions of taxpayer money and now that we must break it to soldiers who were told the road home goes through Baghdad that they cannot go home, that they must stay in Iraq and continue fighting a guerilla war ... now we are questioning what brought us there in the first place.
LOL...Is this why she has a voice that can fill a concert hall?
Impossible. Her nose gets in the way.
Trouble is, she thinks "guerillas" are cute endangered primates and she is outraged that US soldiers would be harassing them.
And guess what? I realized I am the smartest person on the planet. Smarter than Bush, smarter than Rice, in fact I'm Godlike. ME BARBRA - FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSE!"
I would ask, "Where does the guerilla war end and where does terrorism begin?"
Why aren't these strikes on US military (and civilians) termed what they are? Terrorism. The goal is not to "win" by killing more of our guys then we can kill of theirs. The goal is to scare Americans and Iraqis - TERROR. They think that if they can "scare" enough of us, we will leave and they will be "victorious".
Since "they" have no role in the Iraqi government now, "they" will not return to power. "They" are terrorists, not "guerilla soldiers".
Hamas is a terrorist organization, not a ragteam of "guerilla soldiers".
Good question.
I don't care to hear anything about "LIES" from one of Clintoon's chief bootlickers. Somehow it rings awfully hollow.
Perhaps you, or your ghostwriters, should read today's Washington Post. Here is an excerpt from an article by April Witt:
BAGRAM, Afghanistan, July 30 -- The chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff said today that the Iraq conflict is providing important intelligence on al Qaeda and is not sapping resources from the war against international terrorism in Afghanistan and elsewhere.
"People should be assured there has not been any lessening of our ability to go after al Qaeda because of the operations in Iraq," Air Force Gen. Richard B. Myers told reporters during a one-day visit to Afghanistan, his fifth stop in a tour of the Middle East and Asia.
"In fact, just the opposite, we're getting very good intelligence from operations in Iraq on the al Qaeda and it's been very helpful in understanding the network and tracking down some of the leadership"...
