Awwwwwwww! To see how happy that beautiful almost-one-year-old boy is.... To see him give his love pat to his Mommy.... I just want to cry with joy. What a difference from the palm-sized little nubbin he was last year.
Thank G-d for LOGAN!!!!! And happy 4th of July!

Awwww, the last two are my favorites :-)

My little Oliver (16.5 mos) had his check-up on Friday and is now growing even slower than before. They do not know why. At 18 months, they will be testing him for lots of things. He weighs 19 lbs 5 oz, and is 30 inches long.
But he is happy and seems smart, even if he doesn't say anything yet, and he loves to see his friend Logan on the 'puter!
Here's a picture of the little Peanut with big brother and Daddy enjoying his 4th of July.
Here's a closer pic of him.

Yes, I did! A real old fashioned one! Hope you had fun too.

Somebody's got an important birthday coming up pretty soon!

I want to offer encouragement.
November 2, 1992, my son Brandon was born, weighing 1 lb 7 oz and at 23 weeks gestation. He had group B sepsis, among other complications of prematurity.
I offer Logan the same prayer I offered for Brandon: "God, you can fix this. I know you can, and I really want you to. If you choose not to, I will try to understand. This baby needs your healing and love, and I place him in your hands. Please give us all strength."
Brandon will turn 12 on November 2 this year. He has some residual asthma, but it didn't keep him from enjoying a full week of outdoor camping with Boy Scouts this summer.
God is faithful. I will keep this family in my prayers.
