Dollars that should go to serious disease threats such as heart disease and cancer. Cure the things that are not self-inflicted and that will help the most people.

A good deal of heart disease is self inflicted. Scratch research on that too.

Why scratch heart research it has revealed that diet/exercise is a preventive measure. I think that is educational knowledge that all of us need to know.

When diet/exercise recomendations come out we need that info to adjust our lifestyles. It is an on going education.

Some health issues are pretty straight forward. Casual sex = STD's.

They are now finding estrogen treatments after menopause is not a wise thing. I for one will not take hormones when I get to that point in part to the research findings.

All research is not useless.

If an Aids cure needs to be researched than let the funds come from the groups devastated by it.

It would be stupid IMO to research how to stop heart, liver illnessess so one can keep eating and drinking all they want. Not gonna happen.

Regardless of ones over indulgence a change in habit is the best cure.

I certainly will not eat potato chips with an oil added that is going to cause GI problems just so I can enjoy chips. Same goes for sex.

But a great deal of it is not.

As to GRIDS. If homosexual behavior would stop so would the disease. The sexual perverts are the reservoir.
