I think that'll be about the most popular Democrat in 2004.

The Democrats have pulled out every attack tactic they could in a time of war and they still can't bring down this President. I have watched the "Nine Nattering Nabobs" for the last month and I have yet to see one of them offer anything in a way of change.... Just non-stop attacks on a President who has had more on his plate than any other President in recent history.

LOL! Kerry defending the Bush tax cuts? I love watching the dems beat up on one another. I think Kerry's proposal is to just repeal the tax cut for the top tier. It's still a loser that way. Kerry is just plain scary looking. Yikes!

I hope Hillary throws her hat in the ring. Dean will go balistic! The democratic primaries will be a hoot to watch; all the while, W can go about his business of governing and raising money. Gotta love it.

They were the most accurate polling firm by far in last year's elections (Zogby blew most of his polling predictions in 2002).

There used to be a time (before 9/11/01) when Zogby's polls were the only ones worth paying attention to. Unfortunately, he let himself be wholly swallowed by the Dark Side after 9/11.

When you think about it, this is excellent.

Clearly, the polls are good for Bush. So why all the fuss about Hillary thinking of jumping in? I thought she would only go for Prez if Bush proved weak, and his support has remained rock solid. Maybe Hillary's starting to panic, figuring her rearend isn't getting any smaller, and 2008 is too long to wait.

And he isn't even campaigning yet. That's remarkable, actually. It is also proof, once again, that this country IS NOT "EVENLY DIVIDED" on political and social issues.

If you go and see a poll on Ronald Reagan at this time in his first term you will find out that he had an approval rating around 40%, and a disapproval of 45% if my memory serves me well.

Bush is setting a new standard, it seems. People start getting nervous when he approaches 55% approval rating, when 20 years ago (or more recently), a 40% approval rating was considered "OK." Or maybe it's the leftist media trying to spin a less-than-60% rating as being "bad news for the President."
