That's the problem with having a photographic memory, a lifetime of terrorism behind you, and a lifetime of pain ahead of you. At some point, you'll break, and start to say the most interesting things.
I believe that in political circles this sort of information is referred to as "leverage".
It will be interesting to see how it is applied.
High on "truth serum" and painkillers, Abu Zubaydah told his U.S. captors that the Saudis permitted bin Laden to leave the country in 1991 and gave him funds for al Qaeda as long as he didn't return to promote jihad there, according to Time magazine's review of "Why America Slept."
Hmmmm---Mossad, CIA, MI5 (or whatever cognomen British Intelligence goes by these days)?? Payback is a bitch, isn't it.
all three suffered "accidental" deaths in a span of less than two weeks in 2002. One reportedly died of a heart attack, one perished in a car crash, and the last died of thirst while traveling in Saudi Arabia.
I do love how this administration plays the game. The "dying of thirst" bit is especially good. Oh wait, I forgot, Bush is a dummy and certainly not capable of anything resembling moves that would make Machiavelli or Sun Tsu glow with pride. (chuckle)
The Royal Court issued the following announcement:

Funeral prayers will be held tomorrow, Tuesday July 23, 2002, after the Asr prayer, at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh. May God bless his soul and grant him mercy.

I wonder if similar things are going on in Pakistan??
Zubaydah proceeded to spill the beans on bin Laden's Saudi-Pakistani love triangle, claiming the funding came through three Saudi princes, including Ahmed.
The book goes on to reveal that all three suffered "accidental" deaths in a span of less than two weeks in 2002. One reportedly died of a heart attack, one perished in a car crash, and the last died of thirst while traveling in Saudi Arabia.
So, the antiJihadis took out these scum. Or by getting rid of them, did they just protect the higher up string pullers?
"See, see, see," they said. "We took care of those bad Princes ourselves. We'll be good now. Can we have dessert ?"
Wonder how often that happens.
BINGO.
I'd guess it happens every time the Saudi secret police bind a prince in duct tape and drop him off 100 miles from Al Ha'ab bin Nowheresville.
