Dear Enna, a most noble gesture. However, we will no longer be able to "FEED THE WORLD" if these illegals keep draining every resource this country needs to make the world a better place. A nation might be judged on how it cares for its poor and we have done that generously, however these illegals are not our poor even though they have had more benefits bestowed than the average citizen. If you want to preach socialism, please do it in countries that are already dying from it. The tag line of a frequnt freeper reads something like "the trouble with socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples' money" and I believe that with all my heart.

Bingo! How many billions of pounds of food (and money, too, I guess!) have we sent to other countries? And how is that abundance disbursed? The greedy HEADS of the starving countries, or the tribal chieftans confiscate everything...food AND money...then take all the money for themselves, and SELL the food to their own starving people. So much for "helping the world".
