I was at work. My sweetie called to tell us to turn on the TV. Just as we all made it into the conference room to watch the news, the second plane hit. We were all stunned. We all watched, horrified, as the towers came down. All we did was watch the news for the rest of the day.

I was at work. We had a bigwig from Regional Office here for a little meeting, and the security guard interrupted to say that someone had crashed into the WTC. Then again when he heard that the Pentagon had been attacked. The bigwig was a little bit of a blowhard and it took a while for him to conclude his talk. I then rushed to my computer and logged on to FR.

I went home for lunch, and Air Force One flew right in front of me as I parked at a redlight. After lunch, I went back to work, but it was closed and everyone had gone home. I then went home and spent the rest of the day watching the news.

I had just gotten up to get ready for class for my last semester of undergrad. I turned on Fox and Friends and saw that the first building had been hit. All they knew then was that a plane hit it, possibly a small commuter plane.

I was on the phone calling my mom in memphis, who, along with my stepdad, had gone up to visit my sister and her new baby when. I told her to get it on FNC. Right then I saw the 2nd plane hit. I did a double take and thought it may have been footage of the first plane. That's when John Scott blurted out that another plane hit. I rarely cussed in front of my mom, hung up the phone, called my school and told my professor that I would not be making it to class that day.

I stayed in front of the tv probably close to 24 hours straight. I couldn't leave. I didn't want to leave, in hopes that somebody would be pulled out of that mangled pile of metal alive.

I was at work. Someone came running in and said that the WTC was on fire. Someone turned on a TV and we all started watching. After awhile, I picked up the phone at my desk and this poor man, who was a security guard at the Pentagon called, worried about his son who attended the college where I worked at the time. He then told me that a plane had crashed into the Pentagon. I told him everyone at the school was fine. I then tried to call my brother-in-law's cell phone(he's an American pilot who flies regularly to the east coast) and couldn't get through. Everyone in our office was crying and we then all gathered together and said a prayer for those in the buildings and on those planes.
