This is a very odd approach. After all, I'd have thought that for a Muslim to marry more than one "wife" would be against their religion. Why? Well, a "wife" is a woman who has gotten married to a man already (he is called her "husband"). They're saying that Muslim men should marry "wives"? Then they're advocating that women have more than one husband!

Among other things, this wouldn't reduce spinsterhood at all, either.

I think maybe they should just encourage Muslims to marry more women so that they end up having more wives. This "marry more wives" idea is a harebrained approach if I ever heard one!

Mutatis Mutandis, I'd say. I lived in Sierra Leone for 3 years, and you NEVER saw women roaming the streets there. I'll bet my earlier comment also applies in N. Nigeria, where Muslims are concentrated.

Muslim women roam the streets in Indonesia and Malaysia, if they wish. Not all muslim countries are as idiotic and fanatic as those in the Middle East.

Nigerians are the nastiest, dirty, filthy, stinking people on earth. We had some top Nigerian diplomats at our flight training center for a week of free training as a sales pitch. These Nigerians smelled like dead bodies that were rotting, it was totally disgusting.

The Flight Instructors that trained them in the simulator would spray aerosol deodorizer as fast as they could and they were still gagged by the smell. Instead of taking a break every two hours the were taking breaks every 10-20 minutes.

We almost had an International incident when one of the instructors said here comes stinkball, talking about the top Nigerian AF commander. Thank god he didn't hear the statement. You could smell them from over a hundred feet away. They were absolutely the worst smelling clients we ever trained, and we had many others almost as bad.

We wondered what the people in the restaurants they went to tought. I still wonder. After they had left, the hotel came over and said they had used one of the closets to shet in, instead of using the toilet. The hotel said they never wanted are customers again.

I can just imagine what the normal Nigerian smelled like if some of the top Nigerian AF commanders and Diplomats smelled that bad. One of our flight instructors who flew dead soldiers home from Vietnam, said the Nigerians smelled ten times worse. It was awful, thank god they never returned for training.
