I'm not impressed by Jung. He lacked incisiveness and has become a form of pop psychiatry. The problem is much deeper than industrialization.
But both he and Freud recognized homosexuality as a kind of deviancy. That the modern professionals are unwilling to do. They think that earlier views were simply a matter of convention and that all is required is to create a new convention.
