Bush Denounced as 'Evil F---' at Kerry Fundraiser
NewsMax.com ^ | Sept. 21, 2003 | Carl Limbacher

President Bush was denounced as an 'evil f---' at a fundraiser this week for Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry.

The event, held at Manhattan's Intrepid's Sea-Air-Space Museum Thursday night, featured a vulgarity laced performance by techno-rocker Moby, who invited Kerry onstage for a sing-along tribute to punk rock godfather Lou Reed.

As the duo perfomed Reed's classic "Walk on the Wild Side," Kerry "froze," according to the New York Daily News, when Moby reached one particularly obscene portion of the song.

Then, after the song ended, Moby denounced Bush to the crowd of Kerry-backers as "an evil f---," the News said.

It's not clear whether Sen. Kerry was still onstage when the techno-rocker used the obscenity in reference to Bush - or whether the one-time Democratic fronrunner even heard the outburst.

Though the incident reportedly took place four days ago, Sen. Kerry has had no comment on Moby's use of the "F"-word in reference to the President of the United States.

Any sense of decorum long ago vanished from the Democrat Entertainment-Industrial complex.

Excuse me. Senator Kerry fashions himself John F. Kerry or JFK!

Now we know what the "EFF" stands for!

Why is it a mystery? Why doesn't some reporter ask him? It is not like the guy is Howard Hughes----he is running for President of the United States for cripes sake! Kerry won't be asked by Time or The Washington Post because to reject the comment is to alienate his left vulgar base, and to not reject the comment is an obscenity in itself.

And so goes the double standard.

Sorry, but this isn't a story. If Kerry said it, it would be one thing. A musician at a fundraiser, said something without Kerry's permission. Kerry might have been within 500 yards of him when he said it. Ooooh, how exciting!

Come on. Kerry is enough of a tool that you don't have to breathlessly break news that "Moby" used potty mouth language to attack Bush. Is anybody here really shocked? Once Kerry says that he agrees, "Bush is a f&&#%", please come back and tell me.

If this happens at a Democrat rally, nobody cares. If someone at a Republican rally went off about "Hillary F---ing Clinton", the press would make sure to ask the candidate if they *agreed* with the comment.

You lapse into the media double standard.

When Ted Kennedy made his outrageous charges against Bush the other day. the media didn't dismiss them as false or unfounded. They asked "Is Kennedy right?". Nobody ran stories "Is Ken Starr right?" "Is Newt Gingrich right?". They don't want you to even entertain the idea that a Republican claim has credibility. But a Democrat claim, no matter how absurd, has credibility with the media.

That's because Kerry is such a really far out groovy dude. A real democrat idol.

He should exchange hair with John Edwards. Moby would look slightly less ridiculous and Edwards would look like he had been thinking, which would be a first.

I remember prior to this war dems swore up and down that they wouldn't become hate-filled and reactionist as the hippies of the 60s. Pff....they've become worst. All we need is the weathermen to come out of retirement and the love will be as it was before.

I saw Moby play at a Weenie Roast concert, along with most of the big names from Alternative Music. He's a putz, certainly, but nowhere near the biggest idiot in the lot. The day was chock-full of Bush-bashing rants and socialist blather, all punctuated with the F word, raised fists and the finger.

Charming.

The culture war is deadly serious out there, people. Polite GOP tactics are laughed at.

America-haters have: Music, Network TV, Cinema, Education, Fine Arts, the Stage, Major Newspapers, Universities, FM Radio... all locked up in an ideological package. In short: the entire "culture".

The right has talk radio. If the right refuses to engage in battle, it deserves defeat.
