Am I crazy or did Al Franken just make an incredibly racist remark in his interview with Paula Zahn? If I'm right, will the media leave Franken alone ? Will the NAACP call him on it?

What he did was worse. He made up an incredibly racist remark and attributed it to Rush, and did it in such a way that it's not entirely clear if it was supposed to be a joke. That comment, more than anything else in the interview, shows what a sleazy a**wipe Al Franken is. While I'm at it, I just have to say that Stuart Smalley was one of the most painfully unfunny recurring characters on Saturday Night Live. It saddened me to see that there were people that actually laughed at it.

Has anyone mentioned that this was Rush`s "big opportunity" he knew it and he failed miserably.

He does not have mass appeal for the sensibilities of all America. His following is huge, but not as huge as NFL football.

The people who offered him the job probably knew that and are gloating to high-heavens at how they arranged the double punch. They were just waiting for the first slip-up to do this.

But, Rush took the chance and is now paying the price. If he is congnisant of the way the liberals work, why did he fall right into their trap.

Yes, I'm not really surprised at all by this. They found the person who could spew the most hate-filled venom towards Rush. Naturally, that would be Al Franken.

And they do this to pile on the #1 talk show host in the country.
