Big deal, Sharon. I worked as a cocktail waitress in college and got groped just about every shift.

Big deal, Sharon. I worked as a cocktail waitress in college and got groped just about every shift. Me too...I remember getting p!ssed not traumatized with humiliation. I'd flirt back if I was interested. Heck I've grabbed a butt or two of nice looking men myself...today that would be considered abuse.

In the summer of 1970 I moved from Virginia to Tulsa, Ok. Flying in and out of Tulsa over the next three years, before returning to the Washington suburbs of Virginia, it was my experience that men were groped about as frequently as women during those days. There were many places where men and women would meet, mostly bars, for the sole purpose of groping and "getting it on." Those places were inspired by movies and popular culture in that era. Actors like Warren Beatty, brother of Shirley McLain, and a celebrated liberal, had a reputation as a swordsman, a reputation that he strove to maintain.
