I agree with this.

Nobdysfool? This seems to comport with your two posts How To Be Born Again #244 and How To Be Born Again #444

Do you agree?

I gave the article a quick read, so I'm not going to give an in-depth answer yet. I do see a couple things which trouble me. The author takes enough gratuitous swipes at Calvin to make me think that he, at least in part, is trying to undermine Calvin subtley. Every time he mentions Calvin it is with a perjorative. That is the mark of someone with an axe to grind.

His logic is a little shaky in some spots, precisely because he's trying to "disprove" Calvin, which takes him into little side-trips as he tries to establish his thesis. There is some that I can agree with, but some that strike me a little oddly, as though he's glossing over the weak points of his thesis, lest the weakness be spotted too easily.

I will give it a more thorough read, and attempt to answer the "problem" areas I see, although the answer may not come until Sunday, as I have family duties and fellowship to enjoy tomorrow. My grandchildren take priority over apologetics this time of year, since I don't get to see them as much as I'd like. My own adult children also fit into that categoy, although my son has been known to weigh in on FR from time to time, when he has time.

Until then, Blessings from God to all men of good will!
