He may believe that such a person as is called Jesus (for Christ was not his name) was born and grew to be a man, because it is no more than a natural and probable case. Faith based on reason instead of dogma can not confused by apparent contradictions that are found in revelatory books and Bibles written by men.

Such reason based faith could never be "illogical and a lie"

Look to the nature of creation...In it you will see the reflection of God.
