Jude quoted the book of Enoch and there were at least 20 fragmentary copies of 1 Enoch found among the Dead Sea Scrolls.

IMHO, the way to view Enoch is to see if it supports, contradicts or fills in the blanks of Genesis and Revelation.

IMHO, The Book of Enoch fills in the gaps, and supplements, Genesis and Revelations.
Which is precisely why it was left out of the collection chosen to be included in what we consider our Old Testament.
