Didn't Jesus say something about the Final Days coming like a theif in the night, that attempting to predict its onset would be frivolous?

OTOH, the MSM loves to wave articles like this as "proof" that RedStaters are all a bunch of crazy fundies waiting for the Mothership to arrive. Why give them the ammunition?

Well then why would he give us the Book of Revelation? or the Prophepts in the OT... To keep us in the dark?

I think it would pay you to read all the Scriptures that might apply--especially Christ's words. Lay them out and see what sense you can make of them.

Then, perhaps you'll be less likely to toss a few phrases together and mangle Christ's words in a frivolous, silly, nonsensical way.

Christ spoke of one of HIS comings as a thief in the night. That's quite different from the whole end times Era! A whole era coming like that is not even very logical.
