It's always disheartening to see churches built on solid creedal foundations succumb to modernism/liberalism at the hands of the experientialist majority who just want institutional peace no matter what the cost. They always end up siding with power religion against the true bearers of the Scriptural standard. Such was it with the Presbyterian Church about a hundred years ago.
