It is vital if Christianity is to survive in America as more than a private exercise. The state wants the public space to itself. The legal thinking that religious expression does not belong on the public property is gaining recognition. They won't stop at tearing monuments down.

A right that is not exercised is a right that is usurped first.

Nicely said. The secular state is a legitimate and important entity, but Christianity has much to say that is important for the health and survival of our society.

I was listening to the radio at work one day when a religiously themed song came on. A young woman I work with heard it and said, "they're allowed to talk about God on the radio?"

I was stunned to say the least.
