Go to another diocese. It shouldn't take that long to get a yes or no.
After 18 months into the experience in this diocese we *should* only have 6 months to go (can you believe it?!?!), Starting over in another dicocese we would have to wait 6 months to a year--which is the norm for more diocese in the US.
