I agree that feminists hate it, due to God-given authority of the husband. But plainly said, husbands have badly misused and misconstrued their authority so as to create a rebellious spirit in their wives. Hence, the concept that Adam first sinned in the Garden of Eden by disobeying God and not watching after Eve. Which led Eve to be beguiled by the serpent, and she was the first to eat of the tree of Good and Evil...

"As I said here on FR many times, Feminism and Homosexuality is a demonic spirit, and when the anti Christ comes, the feminist and the homosexuals will be at the for front of oppression and persecution of Christians and ushering in the anti Christ."

I couldn't agree more. Another thought along these lines; in cultures where women assume the roles of men it seems that the population declines. Europe today is not reproducing at a replacement level, let alone a growth rate.
In America today we are starting to see the same occur among middle class whites.

Yes. by the acts and behavior of some men have made most look bad, however, God's word is God's word.
Yes , women have a grip about men who have not lived up to their respondsibity as men ( hence, head authority of the house hold and leaders ) however, God did not forsake Israel when Israel refused to listen to God.
Yes, all of humanity is subject to sin and error.

We can agree to disagree, and still be of good spirits and on the same team.
Yes, I would agree that women have issues towards men, as the same men have issues towards woman, but, I have to disagree about the core reason feminist are feminist ( as of in todays world ).
It's the same spirit that drives the homosexuals, and the feminist are not just after women's rights or how women are treated, that is just their front.
Just for a example, were were those women and feminist when old Billy Bob Clinton were having his way with those women ? and they did not come to the defense of those women, but rather, held old Billy Bob Clinton in high esteem no matter how much his victims were saying.
Were were the feminist in Terry's defense when he husband wanted her to die of starvation ?
Don't you see the point I am getting at ? the feminist SAY they are for women's rights and treated right, but, are they really ?
The feminist are nothing but a government sanctioned hate group against men who want to undermined our country, the family, Christianity, in other words, it's another arm of the communist anti God movement.

Paul was concentrating on the higher things knowing, intuitively, that as Garce builds upon nature, the natural consequence of Christianity would be the gradual elimination of slavery.

Love, eventually, conquers all; and in Christ, behold, all things are made new; even the master - slave relationship (which was well-established prior to the Incarnation)

Good to see Catholics getting into the bible!

*Upon reading that comment, I experienced the same sort of thankfulness I imagine a black man would experience upon being told by a Community Crime Stopper, "It is nice you folks are getting into law-abiding."

In addition to having written the New Testament we Catholics, routinely, "get into it."

Now, if only the protestants would "get into" basing their worship of God on the Eucharistic Sacrifice of the New Covenant established by Jesus.

You get no argument from me regarding the front/false face, used by feminists to gain power. I am quite aware that they, just like any other organization, could care less for women's rights. Its a bunch of baloney, and they only want more and more power to do, exactly what men have been doing to women for eons and eons. And that is to subjugate men, into a form of slavery, which in turn, bucks the system(and God). I am in no way a feminist, but I can see this being done. Men are giving up their masculinity via effeminates, homosexuals, and whatever else you'd like to add. However, the vast majority of these women(a few die-hards will remain adamant) would not behave as such if men would not be so foolish as to challenge them. For a woman soon recognizes the challenge-front in a man's world, is a losing proposition. And men are quite aware of this power they have. Most women(before the idiocy of being challenged by men) could simply care less about the goings on inside the minds of men. But when women are faced with that incessantly silly stuff, day in and day out, they have no alternative but to deal with it. Many will deal with it quite harshly, but the entire scenario would never have occurred, were it not for the foolish challenge...

No, I don't think Paul was endorsing slavery, but rather addressing an issue of the time. Amazing that it is relevant to some countries in the world, even today, isn't it?

**Yes. And like many passages in the Bible, it is taken out-of-context and applied however it is most selfishly advantageous for the user. **

So true!

If you check out the Daily Readings, Catholics were into the Bible long before this day and ages.

In what way?

I don't mean to be crude but, I think it would be wise to eliminate the middlemen and interpret the Bible for yourselves. The history of the Catholic Church is not a pretty one. Not being a Catholic but, having many friends who are, I feel the Church has let it's parishioners down and put undue pressure on their spirituality.

" Men are giving up their masculinity via effeminates, homosexuals "

You got that right, with no thanks to Hollywood and the MSM.

They sure didn't like it when the printing press was invented and the masses finally could read the Bible on their own.

That sure is an overly-simplistic summary of what happened, to say the least.
