If one wonders why so people are not attracted to the Church the evidence is in these responses.
What ever happened to “Christians love one another” - but maybe that is for Christians, not Catholics. I know of no Christian who would be so lacking in charity -but such lack is common among Catholics who are so self-righteous.
I doubt that these people even know the man. He is most respected among his fellow Chicago priests, and is one of the most generous men alive though few are aware of his generosity.
These comments reflect the reason why fewer and fewer Catholics attend Mass. There is no Christlike behavior here. Pray for him and for them!
