It’s unfortunate that the PC(USA) gets mixed up with the PCA sometimes. I think the latter is more traditional/conservative, but that just may be in my area of the South.
The PCA adheres to its standards, the ones the PCUSA tries to ignore. Yeah, it’s more conservative everywhere.
