The Pastoral Search Committee of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., announced on January 18, 2009 their choice for their next pastor: William Graham Tullian Tchividjian, 36, pastor New City Church (EPC) in Margate, Fla. Tchividjian is a grandson of Billy Graham.
The new pastor's current church goes for contemporary music; Coral Ridge has been known for its organ (and it's late pastor, the conservative D. James Kennedy.) So it looks like there will be a culture change there.
I’d like to see some of his preaching...
Always got a kick out of such a conservative Church remaining in the most liberal county in the state. You would’ve thought DJ Kennedy would’ve moved farther up I-95 once the Condo Communists and Caribs started showing up.

I listened to a few, but I’ll have to listen to some more, before I can really say anything. I sure did like D. James Kennedy, though... It’s too bad he had to go.
