In the maddened times, reason disappears, and old scores are ripe to be settled by those who live for such opportunities.
But sometimes the mad overreach, and an outcry from others who will not accept further madness... can made a pivotal difference.
An organization is quietly under assault, perhaps one that you've never heard of- AAPLOG. They are a group of physicians who insist that the right to disagree was never reserved for liberals alone.
The email speaks for itself.....

Subject: A brief chance to defend rights of conscience
Please forgive me for entangling you in politics, but there is a particular dire need which is time limited. So, I send this to you for your discernment, and to disseminate as you feel merited.
The all out attack on physician rights of conscience has been launched in full force by the current administration yesterday. See Senator Jim DeMint's email below. Those who care whether or not health care providers can conscientiously object to being forced to perform or refer for abortions have 30 days to make a very big noise, or find ourselves without the legal right to conscientiously object to anything.
Also, just to let you know, there will be a big central website for you to also send comments defending our rights of conscience-but it won't be up and runnning until tomorrow.... I'll send you the link as soon as it is up and running. That site will contain sample letters.
God bless you!
Donna J. Harrison, M.D.
President,
American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists

'FIRST, DO NO HARM'
POSTED BY SENATOR JIM DEMINT 03/10/2009 - 05:31:59 PM Today, the Obama Administration officially began the process of rescinding the Bush Administrations regulation protecting the conscience rights of doctors to not perform abortions. President Obamas decision to overturn this important regulation is yet another attack on Americas culture of life.
In the past three decades, Congress has set forth several statutes protecting provider conscience rights, most recently the Hyde-Weldon law passed in 2004, which I supported. Under this law, no federal, state, or local government agency or program receiving funds from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services may discriminate against a health care provider because the provider refuses to perform, pay for, provide coverage of, or make referrals for abortions. This protection covers health care professionals, hospitals, HMOs, health insurance plans, and any other kind of health care facility, organization, or plan.
Abortion advocates argue that if doctors and other health care professionals are not forced to support or perform abortions, access to health care services for women will be restricted. In reality, many health care providers will leave the industry all together if forced to violate their moral convictions, thereby reducing access to health care services across the board. In addition, without the conscience protection regulation, providers opposed to participating in abortion remain susceptible to intolerance and coercion from employers with conflicting beliefs and possible lawsuits from outside organizations.
Last week, the Office of Management and Budget announced they were reviewing a proposal to repeal the rule, and starting today, March 10, the American people have 30 days to voice their opinions on the matter.
I urge Americans troubled by these actions to voice their concerns to the Obama Administration. Please submit your concerns either:
electronically via at regulations.gov; via e-mail to proposedrescission@hhs.gov; or
by regular mail: Office of Public Health and Science Department of Health and Human Services Attention: Rescission Proposal Comments Hubert H. Humphrey Building, 200 Independence Avenue, S.W., Room 716G Washington, DC 20201.
The Obamination is a ferocious supporter of partial birth abortion and post natal termination of newborns inadvertedly surviving abortions.
Will the Monster-in Chief also now mandate these “procedures”?
