Pray for our American Heroes

Dear Lord, we give You thanks for all Your blessings and Your promises, and pray that You would be with us as we gather in Your Name.

Lord, we pray for all our troops. The battle belongs to You, and we ask that You would give victory to our troops wherever they fight. We pray for their protection, and for the comfort of their families.

Father, we pray for every evangelist who has gone out and will go out. We pray that You would give them boldness and wisdom, that they may proclaim Your Word as it should be proclaimed. We ask, Lord, that You would strengthen each one, and grant that they would grow always in their understanding of Your love.

You are the Lord of the harvest, and we ask today that You would send workers into Your harvest field. Open the eyes of Your people, Lord, that we may see that the fields are ripe for harvest. Father, we desire to see Your Gospel go out to all the world, and Your salvation to the ends of the earth. And we add a particular prayer, Lord, for the country You have given us to live in. Father, send evangelists that the lost may be saved.

Lord, Your power is measureless and Your wisdom past searching out. Who has instructed You or shown You the right way? All Your judgments are just, and all Your ways are righteous. Lord, You have shown us faithfulness and everlasting love, and we give You glory, in the Name of our Savior, Amen.
