I can tell you that many clergyman, some of them Vatican officials do not believe in the existance of hell, the Devil ect. Many parishes today don’t even talk about sin. From whence did Christ save us from? You have to wonder why we have such a shortage of religious vocations and priests.
Many Bishops and priests excusing themselves from the Church’s high sexual standards, hence the sex-abuse scandal. I’d be accused, of course of calumny and detraction.
I fully agree with you and this goes to prove Jesus’ teachings on “false prophets being like wolves in sheep’s clothing” and the “wheat and tares” growing together in the Christendom. We must always be on our guard.
