Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem~A (Not So) Minor Prophet

Nahum Chapter Two

1. He that dasheth in pieces is come up before thy face:
keep the munition, watch the way,
make thy loins strong,
fortify thy power mightily.

2. For the LORD hath turned away the excellency of Jacob,
as the excellency of Israel:
for the emptiers have emptied them out,
and marred their vine branches.

3. The shield of his mighty men is made red,
the valiant men are in scarlet:
the chariots shall be with flaming torches in the day of his preparation,
and the fir trees shall be terribly shaken.

4.The chariots shall rage in the streets,
they shall justle one against another in the broad ways:
they shall seem like torches,
they shall run like the lightnings.

5. He shall recount his worthies:
they shall stumble in their walk;
they shall make haste to the wall thereof,
and the defence shall be prepared.

6. The gates of the rivers shall be opened,
and the palace shall be dissolved.

7. And Huzzab shall be led away captive,
she shall be brought up,
and her maids shall lead her as with the voice of doves,
tabering upon their breasts.

8. But Nineveh is of old like a pool of water:
yet they shall flee away.
Stand, stand, shall they cry;
but none shall look back.

9. Take ye the spoil of silver,
take the spoil of gold:
for there is none end of the store and glory out of all the pleasant furniture.

10. She is empty, and void, and waste:
and the heart melteth,
and the knees smite together,
and much pain is in all loins,
and the faces of them all gather blackness.

11. Where is the dwelling of the lions,
and the feeding place of the young lions,
where the lion, even the old lion,
walked, and the lion's whelp,
and none made them afraid?

12.The lion did tear in pieces enough for his whelps,
and strangled for his lionesses,
and filled his holes with prey,
and his dens with ravin.

13. Behold, I am against thee,
saith the LORD of hosts,
and I will burn her chariots in the smoke,
and the sword shall devour thy young lions:
and I will cut off thy prey from the earth,
and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.

Abba, Father! Blessed is Your Holy Name!
Blessed Are You, Oh LORD, Our God,
King of The Universe,
Mighty and Glorious,
Eternal, Immortal, and Almighty!

Oh LORD, Some trust in Chariots, and some in horses,
But we depend on the name of Our God!
We Pray for The Peace of Jerusalem, For Israel, and For The Jewish People.
We Plead on their behalf,
that You protect Them from their enemies,
Which have compassed them about.

13. Behold, I am against thee,
saith the LORD of hosts,
and I will burn her chariots in the smoke,
and the sword shall devour thy young lions:
and I will cut off thy prey from the earth,
and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.

We Pray for the leaders in Our Own Beloved USA.
How Long will You allow for their hearts to be hardened to Your People, Oh LORD?
Either open their eyes to Your Word,
Or Remove them, Oh Father!
Let Not Their Sins, and Lies, and Evil Against Your People,
Be attributed to us, and thus making my Beloved Country an Enemy of Your People Israel, God Forbid!

Behold, He Who Keeps Watch Over Israel,
Never Slumbers, Nor Sleeps.
Abba Father, Thank You for The Dear American People Who Support Israel,
in spite of the current climate in our government.

Father, We Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise,
Abba, We Pray For The Redemption of ALL The Children of Abraham.
We pray for an END to Lies, Slander, Blood Libel,
Propaganda, and Antisemitism against Your Beloved.
We Pray For An End to Slavery, Hostage-Taking,
and Piracy wherever it is Practiced Around the World.
We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,
Christians and Jews, In Bondage in Hostile lands,
Especially in Egypt, Somalia, Sweden, Germany, Pakistan,
Iraq and Iran.

We Plead For Israeli Control Over All the Holy Sites in Israel,
So that People of All Faiths may visit them.
We Pray For Bibi Netayahu, and the Leaders of Israel
May They Receive Wisdom from You to do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Jordan’s king noted that he was called THE KING OF KINGS and decided that he was going to open that gate and walk through it.

3-4 days before he tried to pull that off, the 6 day war erupted.

The first image on the post is an anonymous person sitting in contemplation in one of the “loopholes” in the Damascus Gate on the Old City Wall in Jerusalem. This Western Gate Overlooks the Buss terminal which is the site of the Rocky Ledge that looks like a Skull, That General Gordon (of Khartoum Fame) thought looked like it might be the Golgotha of the Bible.

Incidentally, there was an EMPTY TOMB on the side of that hill. It is now maintained as a Holy Site for Many and is called “The Garden Tomb”.
