I just have to say I don’t get the whole vampire thing. When I was a kid they were bad and scary! They were afraid of crosses and Holy water, so I assume they were of the devil. What happened to suddenly make them sexy and *ok*?
I think there are many people who are afraid to look evil in the face, so make every attempt to blur what evil is.
I grew up with Dark Shadows, so my view of Vampires was ambivalent.
