The only thing notable about this story is that it’s being reported.
And the only reason it’s being reported is because Ms. Azad is an actress in one of the most popular franchises in movie history.
The facts are simple as they are horrific. Afshan Azad has been secretly dating a non-Muslim. Her father and brother found out, branded her a “slag,” beat her, and threatened to murder her. She made her escape by climbing out of her bedroom window.
The unfortunate youg woman is now in hiding. She refuses to press charges because she knows that the British police are incapable of protecting her and so for now, she has disappeared herself. But for how long can a well known actress remain in hiding?
All over the Muslim world, every day, every hour, every minute, women are raped, beaten, tortured and murdered all in the name of Islam.
The abuses against women that are part and parcel of the Islamist world are, of course, ignored by the self-righteous guardians of human rights and so-called feminists.
The international left has become a perfect reflection of an Orwellian world where war is peace, hate is love, and good is evil. In fact, the dystopian Ministry of Truth has been institutionalized in that august body of the UN and the various so-called human rights groups that are nothing more than rubber stamps for Jew-hating regimes. The thoughtcrimes of which Orwell warned are now embodied by the leftist narrative. For what is “Islamophobia” but a fantasy invented by Islamists as a way of short-circuiting the means by which the west can articulate and defend itself against the juggernaut of transnational jihad.

So, here we have a completely random muslim family. Not particularly extremist - in fact, they allowed their daughter to be in a movie - not exactly an islamic thing to do.

I've never heard Steinem, Fonda, Streisand, Couric, the women at the View et al speak out for abused (and murdered) Muslim women. The plight of persecuted women around the world is what NOW, Code Pink, Hollywood celebs, etc should be undertaking and the likes of Maureen Dowd should be writing about. But these women would rather waste their energy on attacking a particular woman- Sarah Palin.

I dont get it. why do they want live and work with us if they dont want their kids to hang out with our kids. why not stay in an muslim country in lockdown?
