Mr. Mercat and I have known for years that squirrels are sentient extra extraterrestrials. You know those ridiculous “nests” that they have in the tops of trees in the winter? Ha!!! Those are portals to the mother ships where they sit around and eat steak and drink beer. They are only trying to raid our bird feeders so that they can look in our kitchen windows and spy on us which they do daily. And don’t get me started on pigeons.
