You’d think that after a few wrong predictions he’s learn that he’s not privy to information that even Jesus flatly stated he didn’t know while on earth.
$100,000,000?!?!? Holy shit!
Anyone that would send another penny to those frauds needs their head examined!
An old webpage about past doomsday predictions said that Camping predicted the end for 9/6/94, with the second coming on 9/27. Then he predicted it for: 9/29/94, 10/2/94, and 3/31/95. He gave up setting dates afterwards. Again, an OLD web page. He did set dates afterwards...

“the California-based Christian organization that falsely predicted the world’s end this past weekend—in an interview with the Christian Post. “
Falsely? What if the world has really ended and we’re in a....
What does he have for unpaid bills?
I hope this ass dies slowly. All I need is 100 grand and I could really do wonders with my house and get it the way I want (including a septic system that actually works). Meanwhile jerk offs like this waste millions.
I've got a big new house and new car for sale if anyone is interested.
Now I have to listen to my wife go on and on and on!
Pls Help!
I heard on the radio this morning that Camping announced his math was slightly off, and that the end will NOW occur on OCTOBER 21.
Stunning if true. Not sure if you can believe this Tuter guy - does sound a bit disgruntled.
Things are as bad as they seem. All he needs to do is get a bunch of black markers and change the date on the billboards and such to the new updated doomsday of Oct. 21.
Woohoo, that gives us another 5 months to max out our credit cards! Party hardy, yeehaw!
Who knew that the end of the world would actually help the economy!
Yeah, but it probably wasn’t his money. It was money from dupes, and they are probably not through being duped.
Before everybody jumps on Pastor Camping, just a reminder:
$100 million is about the same amount that President Obama spent advertising the “stimulus”. BOTH were equally based in reality and had similar results.
Just sayin’.
I’d like anyone and everyone associated with Family Radio to be assigned to write an essay on the topic of Epistemology.
In the wee-hours of lare nite insomnia, I went looking for Mr. Camping’s TV program last nite.
Mr. Camping was back on “Open Forum”.
The program platform was different, in that there was some media people present, to which he said he would answer questions after he gave a statement.
I didn’t watch for very long.
He said he needed to make an apology and then offered what I thought was a non-apology.
Then he said with respect to his “error”, he was only half wrong. After his immediate explanation for that, I quit watching.
His immediate explanation was that:
yes, the rapture did not take place on May 21, but the “five month period of tribulation culminating in the end of the world in October 2011” (his theory) will still take place.
I listened no further.
Matthew 24:36 -But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
Deut. 18:22-"when a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him."
That's what you get for following a charismatic man, instead of God's Word. That's why He gave it to us.
