Much to probably some people’s objections, I would leave mass immediately. I would simply walk out. Not sure if some would consider it rude behavior but I personally don’t see the Koran reading as spiritual or spreading the word of God.

Forget “rude”! It’s absolutely the right thing to do. The only problem I’ve found with walking out (which was wasn’t rare during the Vietnam war) is that you really have to find another Mass—just to keep your conscience clear.
