The Freedom to die, soon becomes an expectation to die. When someone has the right to die,,, then almost immediately, merely wanting to stay alive will be seen as selfish.
This is why no matter how much we sympathize with a suffering sick person, we do not assist them in commiting suicide. If they want to,, they must do it alone, without an expectation that society needs to assist.
