Mormons aren’t bad people. They just worship a false prophet. Jesus is second place. They haven’t started to blow stuff up yet in the name of Smith.
You are correct in that. I know and served in the military with Morman soldiers. They were good folks. Just blind to the Gospel concerning Jesus Christ.
Well, they gave us the first September 11 massacre of innocent U.S. citizens by religious zealots in a self-created theocracy, resulting in the U.S. military being called in to subdue them. But it was in 1857.

Do some research on “Blood Atonement” and “Danites”. There are valid reasons there was an extermination order issued in Missouri against Mormons - and part of that involved blood atonement. Also up until the 1930’s there was a blood oath to avenge the death (kill) those involved in the death of Smith.
