The whole argument is moot. Romney is as Mormon as Pelosi is Catholic. He takes his religion as seriously as he takes his conservatism, hence of all that is wrong with him, Mormonism is my least concern. I would much prefer if he was a Book of Mormon thumping religious fanatic than the Demoncrat in drag he actually is.

Mitt Romney strikes me as the Al Gore of the Republican Party, except that Al Gore had more conservative leanings prior to his entrance into Washington politics.

The Priest, Bishop, and Stake President, Mitt Romney, is a deeply religious and devoted Mormon and Mormon teacher.

Romney’s family immigrated to America in the early 1840s to serve the cults founder. Mitt’s own father was born in Mexico because the Romneys had migrated to Mexico to stay devoted to pure Mormonism and Mitt had three grandmothers (polygamy).

Mitt is a strong force in Mormonism and is among the secretive, most devout and devoted 15% elite of Mormonism.

Bishop Romney is the “ Book of Mormon thumping religious fanatic” that you say you “would much prefer”. A President Mitt will even need special devout Mormon secret service who share that 15% membership of the most holy, with him, so that they can escort him into the privileged, and secret, inner workings of the religion which rigidly forbids access to about 85% of the less devoted and committed Mormon ranks.

You are incorrect. Romney is a temple mormon. Only about 15% reach that status. It is an honor given to very few mormons. He is the highest of the high in lds.
In order to be a temple mormon a member has a list of rules which they must abide by. They swear that they are following these rules.
Romney is supported by mormons by a rate of about 94% because he is a good mormon.

On that you are wrong. As a former Mormon, I can tell you Mitt is the PERFECT Mormon. He is ‘active’, Temple worthy, has held midlevel callings (church jobs). He is a True believing (or truly brainwashed) Mormon and follows LDS church teachings.

The thing is, Mormons are not nearly as conservative (or Republican) as the PR makes them look on abortion, illegals, gay ‘rights’ and other things. Mitt is the rule rather than the exception.

The whole argument is moot. Romney is as Mormon as Pelosi is Catholic. He takes his religion as seriously as he takes his conservatism...

(Hey, it's OK to be ignorant on certain subjects...I'm plenty of that on a LOT of topics...but when you are one on a given topic -- like you are on this one -- may I suggest you reconsider exporting that)

To expound on what Ansel12 told you, Mitt held Lds offices of Missionary, Missionary Zone Leader, assistant to…Mission President, Bishop and Stake President…

As one Lds bishop's daughter (Tricia Erickson) said, "…You cannot attain the 'calling'…to serve as Mormon Bishop or Stake President unless you are a thoroughly entrenched and obedient Mormon…"

Oh, and if you REALLY think if Mitt's Mormondom is at the same level as Pelosi's Catholicism, please...just tell us what convent she served in...what Mother Teresa missionary-like role she served in...etc. etc. etc.

Oh, you can't?

Your ignorance slip is showing.

You do that too much around here and your credibility wardrobe will be deemed highly lacking.
