“Supper of the Great God”

At the end of the seventh bowl of wrath everything is ready for the return of Christ and His armies to wrestle one of the most important battles against the forces of evil.

The deceived humans would have been fed a constant lie by the media and will believe that the attacking forces are aliens coming from outer space — very rightly so, but these “aliens” are actually Christ and His armies. The humans on Earth will be fighting God Himself, just as they did during the first coming of Christ, in which they crucified Him. The difference now is that Christ is not coming to Earth as the Lamb to allow Himself to be slaughtered; He is returning as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and HE WILL WIN this battle against Satan.

Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl upon the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying, “It is done.” Revelation 16:18 And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a GREAT EARTHQUAKE, such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty.

Revelation 16:19 The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of His fierce wrath. Revelation 16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

In Revelation 17, the angel describes to John who Babylon the Great is, and how the kings of the earth delegate their power to a one-world government leader called “the beast.” This interjection in the sequence of events leading to the Battle of Armageddon is necessary in order for us to understand that the battle against Christ and His armies is made possible because at that time there will be a one-world government of the beast (similar to the United Nations nowadays). This will make it easier to congregate a great army to fight Christ. Revelation 19:7 Then he said to me, “Write, Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are true words of God Revelation 19:17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather together for the “Supper of the Great God”

Isa 46:9 “Remember the former events of old, for I am Äšl, and there is no one else – Elohim, and there is no one like Me, 10 declaring the end from the beginning, and from of old that which has not yet been done, saying, ‘My counsel does stand, and all My delight I do,’

So let's put this to the Messiah test...

Ancient sages wrote about 2 Messsiah's. Messiah ben Joseph & Messiah ben David. Joseph representing the suffering servant and David representing the conquering king. Luk 24:25 And He said to them, “O thoughtless ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! 26 “Was it not necessary for the Messiah to suffer these and to enter into His esteem?” Luk 24:27 And beginning at Mosheh and all the Prophets, He was explaining to them in all the Scriptures the matters concerning Himself.

Luk 24:44 And He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all have to be filled that were written in the Torah of Mosheh and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.” Luk 24:45 Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, 46 and said to them, “Thus it has been written, and so it was necessary for the Messiah to suffer and to rise again from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His Name to all nations, beginning at Yerushalayim.

Now take these verses into context, what were they (Judah) expecting to happen?

Act_1:6 So when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Master, would You at this time restore the reign to Yisra’Ä•l?”1 Footnote: 1Lk. 1:33

The reign belongs to David and since that reign was not restored and since war continued, many rejected Messiah. Why? Because of their lust of religious power. And we see the same thing happening today in Christianity.

Many versions of the end times are preached and sadly many will bring the same result. The people will go up against Messiah because when he returns as Messiah ben David, and many find themselves still here on earth suffering through the tribulation instead of having been raptured out and spared from this tribulation that we are to count "all joy" (James 1:2). They, like many of Judah at his 1st coming, will reject him and go up to fight against him.

There's the famous phrase "what goes around, comes around". Interestingly, most phrases such as this can be sourced right to the Scriptures, the Scriptures that Messiah told us to follow and hold fast to as it was he that spoke all into creation, spoke the words of the covenant to Moses and the Prophets. What did not exist when Messiah and the Apostles walked this earth? The NT as we know it today. If one wants wisdom, one must seek the truth of the NT through the Word of Elohim who 1st revealed it to us in the only Scripture he spoke from ... Genesis-Malachi.

If Messiah is the Word of Elohim, then he is also the Word of the Covenants (plural) of promise . But more important, if Messiah IS the Word of Elohim, the one can rightfully say that the Word of Elohim is our Messiah. the Word that is the "seed" of the Spirit that comes as a helper to us. (Lk 8:11; John 14:16 & 26, 15:26, 16:7)

If we do not want to be deceived, to be lured into falling into disbelief by going up against Messiah at his 2nd coming as many did at his 1st coming, then we must ask the Helper to guide us to the truths Messiah spoke of in Lk 24:25-27 & 44-47 and Acts 1:6-8. And we must accept those truths with all our heart, all our soul and all our being as these Words are our life, today and for all eternity.
