Oh, Lord, Thy will be done.
Amen.
“II Chronicles 7:14 “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
Amen to that. I’ll be praying that God will “heal our land”, as I have through the night in increments, and for many days now. During the first debate, not being able to watch it, I prayed that people would see the real Obama and I believe that happened. Today... praying for God to strike out the cheating, that He will take back America through a Obama defeat, and that His will be done.
"God helps those who help themselves"
- Ben Franklin (not in the Bible, just Poor Richard's Almanac)
I'll be voting in less than one hour and then working as a poll watcher for most of the day - and praying during the day.
"Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition"
- Frank Loesser (obviously not from the Bible, but the story is interesting if you Google 'Chaplain Howell Forgy')
In honor of election day, I bought a little extra in terms of hobby supplies - an extra thousand rounds of .223 ammo. I'll shoot up 200 rounds tomorrow to relieve stress and save the other 800 rounds for later. And I'll pray tomorrow for our country.
"God bless the United States of America"
- Ronald Reagan (once more, familiar but not in the Bible)
I hope everyone on FR will vote today to remove Obama from office, call every conservative friend and relative, encourage them to vote or drag the to the polls, work the phones for a campaign or for the GOP, drag voters to the polls for the GOP or for a campaign, or otherwise work do everything we can before we turn our country's fate over to Him. This is the most consequential election in history. I am not now nor have I ever been a Mitt fan, but I will be voting for Mitt Romney simply because a failure to do so would lead to the rapid destruction of our country. Pray, vote, encourage other conservatives to vote, and pray again.

Lord, your word says that we shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free. (John 8:32)
Lord, I pray that you open the eyes of every American today, so that they can see the truth and vote accordingly.
... and the truth will set this country free.
Thank you for having mercy on this beautiful country.
In GOD we TRUST.
In Jesus Name, Amen
Joining you in that prayer.
AMEN!! Jesus, I trust in YOU!
Dear Beloved God in Heaven, Please give us a president who loves this country and everything it stands for.
Please give us a president who respects You as the one true God.
Please give us a president who will, with Your help, restore this nation to its former glory, the way You created her.
Please help us to respect what You have given to us and not take anything for granted ever again.
Please God, weaken the evil and strengthen the good both without and within. May our eyes be opened.
In Jesus name,
Amen
God Bless America
Blessings and peace to you as well!
Father God, You who reign everywhere all the time—be with us today in this great nation as we choose our leaders. Help us to make right choices, to be confident in our votes, and to always stand up for what is right, remembering all those who have died to keep us free. Thank you for blessing this country and thank you for giving us this opportunity to vote. All things come through You, Father God, and we are so humbled at Your power and grace. Whatever happens today, I know You are in control. I am an American by birth, a Republican by choice, and a Christian through baptism and your saving grace & mercy. I am so blessed, and forever yours. I love You, Father God! AMEN!
Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
For he beholdeth the ends of the world: and looketh on all things that are under heaven.
Being justified therefore by faith, let us have peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thy will be done.
Now that election day is finally upon us, it’s time to get out and vote, and then “pray, hope, and don’t worry”.
PSALM 116:1-2
I love the Lord because he hears my voice
and my prayer for mercy.
2 Because he bends down to listen,
I will pray as long as I have breath!
Amen.
We are His soldiers.
May we be worthy.
Lord, hear our prayers.
Prayers humbly offered up.
