Yes, and a miracle happened there, on that spot.

A miracle not by him, but for him.

Both St. Peter and St. Paul raised people from the dead.

Stretch your mind, please. This is just the way the Catholic Church does it.

They HAVE to have PEOOF of the two miracles.

Again, God identified who He considers to be saints.

If you or a religious group changes the definition to suit your own purposes, that does not change God’s definition. Out of the two definitions, His alone is true. The other, a falsehood that distorts His Word.

Is it this tradition? This is also a bogus side of Rome. The guy healed a sore back, like Benny Hinn? Sideshow antics, my FRiend. Have him raise someone from the dead...after three days and stinkethness. This too is rejected.

Have peace, my friend. Come on over to the light of traditional Christianity. Are you aware of the definitions of Saint and saint?

Catholicism is not a falsehood.

Why do you say that?

Christ founded the Catholic Church on the apostles, the first Bishops on Easter morning after he rose from the dead.

The only thing I need to understand I’d God’s definition of a saint. Anything else is made up and false.

A saint is one who will spend eternity with God based upon His Judgement. A Saint is one that in the learned opinion of the Church has gotten to heaven based upon certain criteria. This is the Church, and not opinions of individuals.

God addresses *all* believers as saints while they are still alive on earth as well as those believers who are in glory. He has no other definition and no other criteria.

"Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours: Whether Paul. or Apollos,or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come: all are yours; And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's." 1 Cor. 3:21-23.

The only way to get around the FACT that ALL believers in the Body of Christ ARE saints is to just ignore or throw out all of the Holy Spirit's work in Paul's writings. Just pretend they don't exist. Which brings up another BIGGER problem: "Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in ME FIRST Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, FOR A PATTERN TO THEM WHICH SHOULD HEREAFTER BELIEVE on him to life everlasting." 1 Tim. 1:16.

Paul, through the Holy Spirt, by direct revelation from the risen Christ states plainly and directly that HE is the pattern to follow, as he follows Christ through direct revelations from Him. Following Peter will do no good in this dispensation of grace. Following the traditions of men will get you nowhere. Except deeper and deeper into darkness and another gospel and another Jesus and another spirit. Thinking themselves wise, they become fools.

Want a Kingdom gospel, given to Israel, for their purpose of being a nation of priests when Christ returns and sets up His Millenial Kingdom? Follow Peter and commend men on their "miracles" for "sainthood". Wait and watch for Christ to return to Rome to shake hands with the Pope and the "faithful" who have worked so hard so establish His Kingdom for Him. But, whatever you do, stay away from any mention of Paul in Acts, or his writings. It will only confuse you with grace and the cross and Christ's finished work, and the reason Christ called Paul, saved him and sent him forth for a pattern to those who would hereafter believe. Hereafter believe what? 1 Tim. 1:15. THE GOSPEL of the grace of God. Not the Kingdom gospel. Another time. Another group of people.

Those who claim to quote “God” on Internet, are really only quoting their “inerrant” themselves. Every man his own pope, right?

"Paul, through the Holy Spirt, by direct revelation from the risen Christ states plainly and directly that HE is the pattern to follow,..."

This is a perfect example a doctrine of the reformation being based on an incorrect translation. Nothing in the letters of St. Paul negates the primacy of the Bishop of Rome, St. Peter. If you check any of the more recent and accurate translations you will see that St. Paul did not say that he was THE pattern, he said he was AN example.

Peace be with you

Oh, I see...it's the "more recent and accurate translations" I should check. I'll just let that one stand on its own...it speaks for itself, Natural. It's just "amazing" how some things are better by "more recent" translations and others are better by "the church fathers". Rome has a real problem deciding which is what and who's on first.

As far as the "primacy of St. Peter" being "negated in the letters of St. Paul": have you read Galatians 2:7-11 lately?...

"It's just "amazing" how some things are better by "more recent" translations and others are better by "the church fathers"."

Unless you are of the belief that Jesus and the Apostles spoke and wrote in King James English you have to recognize that the KJV translations of the original Greek texts are highly flawed.

Peace be with you

One does not really become a saint until you are home with God.

By Catholic doctors, hahaha...Have it validated by a couple of Baptist or secular doctors and then present the evidence...

Old Testament saints are angels...No people...New Testament saints are Christians, living and dead...And they/we are Holy...

Instead of corrupting the scriptures, it would have been far less annoying had the Catholic religion invented a new word for their special people supposedly in heaven instead of perverting the bible word already in use in the scriptures...
