I’ve been asking for help for the last few years. I’ve been suffering from endocrine deficiencies for a while, and I’m aging internally. Pretty much everything about my life is terrible right now, and it doesn’t look like there’s help in sight.

I'll find Bible versus that are applicable and post them here.

First thing to do is get right with God.

Even as Christ was dying on his cross, he cried out so people could hear, asking why God abandoned him.

But you know what ? He knew that he was given as a sacrifice to atone for the sins of those who would believe on him. Because God's justice is perfect, and all men are born into sin, we can not enter into God's presence unless there is blood atonement - our sin cannot go unpunished.

When he asked "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me ?" Jesus was saying the first verse of Psalm 22. He was drawing attention to it for all mankind, knowing that his words would be recorded for future generations to read. Psalm 22 actually answers the question of why Jesus was on that cross and had to die - it foretells of Christ's death and resurrection and his Church.

Thus, the Bible - the Word of God - speaks to us and answers the question "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me ?"

This is all according to written testimony of eye witnesses.

Thus the ones God has chosen as his elect are like adopted children of his, with Christ the firstborn among many brethren. And the Old Testament sacrifice of the unblemished lamb, a tradition since the Exodus from slavery in Egypt, symbolizes Christ, the lamb of God, atonement for the sins of those who believe on him.

I don’t go any more for the picture that the Lord cannot chalk in the elect from a seat quite outside the time-space continuum of His creation... too often Calvinists portray this as some kind of arbitrary divine cement that was cast at or logically prior to physical T=0 (which most Arminians bristle at with equally unhelpful logic from another set of scriptures). “Go find out if you are lucky, punk” is not a gospel message....
