I know nothing whatsoever about your struggles, all I can say is, I am very sorry to hear how hard it is. My only advice can be, don’t torture yourself on top of it trying to appease or reach a figment of someone else’s imagination. It only adds to your burden. It really is a waste of years.

Athiest answer: just off yourself and put yourself put of your misery.

Believer's answer: there is hope in the midst of all trouble and God will be found when you seek him with all your heart.

And this seems to be a rather skewed perception anyhow. It isn’t about “appeasing” God except inasmuch as the process of getting reconciled to God entails, and even then God furnished the appeasement Himself! It’s about accepting a new, spiritual relationship which entails getting filled with God’s spirit more and more and more, and which can involve passing discomfort but then yields access to an eternal sized joy which can be partaken in right here on earth, even BEFORE going to heaven. How neat is that? He is AWESOME....

Going back to biomass isn’t a bad idea given the current state of my life.

Search what you can about primary hyperparathyroid disease. You’ll find that not a lot of people know about it, and its symptoms are attributed to aging. I’m not yet 30, but I feel very, very old. I’ve been openly waiting for a sign for a long time now, but have seen nothing. Consider me a skeptic, but I’m waiting for a sign before I go back to the church. I rarely feel the energy, or want to shower before 10am if I don’t have to, and go to a mass for an hour.
