Very interesting spin on an old problem. I am inclined to agree. While they initially fight for some phantom type of "equality," they're really pushing for superiority for simply existing.
I'll go further to put this forward in controversy: if homosexuality is based on genetics, and we can test for genetic defects and abnormalities on babies in utero, and we can choose to abort those children based on those abnormalities, is it safe to assume that since homosexuality is so commonplace and "acceptable" today that aborting a foetus with genetic markers for homosexuality would be considered a hate crime? But wait... who would prosecute such a hate crime? It involves abortion, which is a darling of the left, but... but... the baby's also genetically homosexual, which means the aborter is committing a hate crime against a CHILD... but... but a foetus isn't a child... right? Right, lefties?
I tend to believe they are seeking legalization (=approval) of an unnatural and immoral lifestyle. This is intended to assuage one's sense of guilt. That may work in this world but it won't hold up in the next.
