Islamic law is to be effectively enshrined in the British legal system for the first time under guidelines for solicitors on drawing up “Sharia compliant” wills.
Under ground-breaking guidance, produced by The Law Society, High Street solicitors will be able to write Islamic wills that deny women an equal share of inheritances and exclude unbelievers altogether.
The documents, which would be recognised by Britain’s courts, will also prevent children born out of wedlock – and even those who have been adopted – from being counted as legitimate heirs.
Anyone married in a church, or in a civil ceremony, could be excluded from succession under Sharia principles, which recognise only Muslim weddings for inheritance purposes.
Nicholas Fluck, president of The Law Society, said the guidance would promote “good practice” in applying Islamic principles in the British legal system.

Sadly, you are correct. We will hear "just like in England" more than once as they are added to the Caliphate. It is a sad day when the land of the Magna Carta falls to Sharia.
Couldn’t someone have just put in all that Sharia-compliant stuff into a will before this latest civil law adjustment? I mean this is a will right? You can put what you want in a will. Can someone not say “My sons get twice each what my daughters get”? Or would those caveats have run afoul of other parts of civil law?
In Paris, as well as other parts of France, there have been no-go zones for those who are not Muslim for over a decade. We have those in the US as well, for all practical purposes, and Dearborn(istan) is is becoming one, if it isn’t already. Do not expect any relief from the current Management in the US.
Anyone who is foolish enough to try to pacify the Muslim takeover of our planet needs to be offered for the first beheadings when the Muslims take over their countries.
There will be consequences beyond Great Britain’s soft headed shortsightedness. These Islamo-fascist savages will use this move towards Shiria law as an incentive to go for it all. As that effort progresses, Britain will be taken down step by step to the underachiever squalor these savages live in around the world.
Sharia law recognizes no such requirement and the latest development allows it to make an end run around extant British law.
somebody correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the English (and the French for that matter) have their own laws concerning inheritance which would conflict directly with sharia. So I wonder what will happen in the future when the soon-to-be grown up women of sharia decide to sue England for not upholding their equal rights?
There used to be an old saying, when in Rome do as the Romans do. Countries need to evaluate if they are willing to surrender or enforce their core values in response to a silent invasion of those who obviously have no intention of doing anything to melt with their host country’s core values.
The next few years will be the time to go see London’s museums and historical places before they are destroyed by extremists.
