The dark side of the Ice Bucket Challenge

[...]

Satanic ritual? Yes. Rituals abound in “Christian” America. Whenever spectators watch singers like Beyonce, JayZ, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and especially Nicki Minaj, they are indoctrinated and involved with blatantly satanic rituals that stem from the deep abyss of the occult. Some of these very same artists have taken the ALS IBC. Gaga doesn’t utter a word as she baptizes herself, arrayed in a sexy black leotard, sporting black lips, perched in an ornate black chair. Gaga doesn’t use a bucket; she instead uses a large silver bowl associated with pagan worship. Do you think she would take the IBC if it didn’t meet her pagan criteria? Not a chance.

The ALS IBC is ritualistic in nature. People are chosen to undergo a form of water baptism with cultic god Oprah leading the charge “in the name of ALS.” The Bible is clear: “You shall have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:3). Oprah is a god to millions of Americans, and those who follow her doctrine and antics have tossed Jesus off the throne of their hearts – perhaps not intentionally … or perhaps so. Yet by following her seemingly innocent IBC decree, knowingly or not, they have cast Jesus off symbolically.

What about the money? The foundation raised over $94 million in one month, stupendously exceeding the $1.5 million it raised last year. And it continues to rake in approximately $9 million per day. There are concerns about ALS using embryonic stem-cell methods, and the organization is not very clear on which research it will conduct and how any of that translates into advances to combat or cure ALS. This has left some people feeling misused or duped into participating with the IBC.

Here’s a challenge: Follow Jesus, not the masses.

The ALS challenge is intended to fund abortionists; it's amazing how they've managed to swindle almost all of the youth media into taking their stupid little challenge. That New Ager and Soetoro supporter Oprah is pushing this challenge should clue anyone in as to its intentions. We ignore the symbolism liberals use at our own peril.

Remember George Allen? Football coach? He was 72 when his players pulled that trick after a win. He died 6 weeks later.

Amazing how the pro-abort ba$tards are always somewhere behind these things, like girl scouts, Suzy Komen, and now this absolutely stupid fad. Anything that includes destruction of life.

True beneficence need not be advertised. Give to your favorite charity quietly, or else it’s more about YOU.

At least all my stupid relatives, who I’m sure didn’t give a dime, have finally all posted their videos.

I remember one announcer breaking the taboo on football coaches by noting that the “ice” used when they get dumped doesn’t seem to melt, even on warm days.

I wonder if any Freepers know the origin of the “Gatorade shower” in football. Kudos to anyone who does. I’ll post the answer in about half an hour if nobody posts it.

WND and Zero Hedge should merge into a single website for kooks across America.

Yeah, it’s stupidity like this that makes it EASY for the left to ridicule religious people. They will highlight this as an example of a typical Christian, which obviously isn’t the case. They shouldn’t make it EASY for them!

You have a popular FAD that’s linked to a charity helping sick people, and a few moonbats try to say it’s SATANIC in nature. This reminds me of the insanity back during the 80s with ‘heavy metal’ music, playing tapes and records backwards, ect! LOL

I personally don’t give a rat’s ass about the Ice Bucket Challenge. Personally, I think it’s one of the most stupid things I’ve ever heard of, but I’m not gonna insult those who participate. It’s none of my business. If you wanna dump a bucket of cold water on your head as part of some ‘viral fad’, then have at it!

I think the Gatorade thing started (Or at least popularized) with Bill Parcells during one of the Giant’s Super Bowl runs; not sure though.

You can run into a few ‘prudes’ around here, but I believe the die hard prudes are a small minority.

FR is largely just a gathering place of normal folks who tend to be of a conservative/libertarian mindset. From what I’ve seen anyway. (I’ll have been here 10 years this upcoming Friday actually)

During my time here, over the years FR seems to be lesser a ‘Republican’ forum and primarily Conservative forum, as the GOPe in DC has abandoned the small government philosophy with their actions in some areas and inaction with others, than how it was when I first started coming here. In 2006/2007 there were some fierce debates/schisms/purges when it was apparent the politicians were abandoning us, for the most part.

You're right. It was their first Super Bowl (XXI, after the 1986 season). But there was a great story behind it.

During the team's last regular-season game in 1986 they were playing pretty poorly against a marginal team (Green Bay). At halftime Parcells came into the locker room and really let his players have it. During his tirade be began picking up trash cans around the locker room and dumping the contents onto the heads of the players -- telling them that they deserved to be covered in garbage because they were playing like garbage.

They went out and outscored the Packers 31-7 in the second half, and team captain Harry Carson began the tradition of dumping the Gatorade on Parcells' head after big victories -- to get his revenge for the locker room theatrics from that Green Bay game.

LOL.

That’s exactly what the article said. The abortion cult plagiarizes from Christian customs, and perverts them.

Don’t you think it is dishonest that ALS funds abortion, but is quiet about it?

Don’t you think that any charity which funds abortion is evil, and should be shut down?

Are you not suspicious about liberal pagan Oprah’s involvement?

Is it really much of a stretch to say that abortionists are Satanists, and engage in Satanic rituals?
